How do I set up the Microsoft Authenticator app for my student email account?

Resolution
The following steps will need to be followed once multi factor authentication has been enabled for your account. If you have previously enabled multi factor authentication in another manner, like text messaging, please contact the
ITS Service Desk
to request that multi factor authentication be reset.
Log into your student email account.
When prompted for added security, select
Set it up now
.
Choose
Mobile app
from the dropdown.
Make sure
Recevie notifications for verifications
is selected.
Click
Set up
.
Follow the
on-screen instructions
to add the account to the
Microsoft Authenticator app
.
