I got a new phone or device and need to associate it with my Microsoft Authenticator app.

Do you still have your previous device and the ability to use Microsoft Authenticator on it currently?

Yes, I Can Use Microsoft Authenticator on My Old Device

Using both your new device and a laptop, desktop, or tablet device, follow the Using Microsoft Authenticator App article which will associate your new device with your account.
Note: It is very important once you add your new device, follow Steps 2 - 5 below to remove your old device.
After associating your new device, log in via My Sign-Ins.
Click Security Info.
Click Delete next to your old phone.
Click OK.

No, I No Longer Have My Old Device or Otherwise Cannot Use Microsoft Authenticator

Without Microsoft Authenticator on your old device, you are unable to add a new device on your own. Please contact the ITS Service Desk or submit a service request by clicking the Request Service button.
