Displaying My Homepage By Default

How do I make Safari display my homepage by default?

Environment

  • Safari

Cause

With the implementation of newer versions of Safari, the default setting for homepages is set to show Favorite websites instead of the homepage.

Resolution

1. Open Safari.
2. Click Safari in the top left corner.
3. Click Preferences... .
4. Select the General tab.
5. Select the drop down box for New windows open with.
6. Click Homepage.
7. Select the drop down box for New tabs open with.
8. Click Homepage.
