How do I connect my Nintendo 3DS to the internet?

Environment

  • Nintendo 3DS

Resolution

Wi-Fi Connection

  1. From the 3DS home menu, navigate to System Settings.
  2. Tap Internet Settings.
  3. Tap Connection Settings.
  4. Tap New Connection.
  5. Tap Manual Setup.
  6. Tap Search for an Access Point.
  7. Once the search has completed, tap WKU-WIRELESS.
  8. Tap OK.
  9. You should now be connected to WKU-WIRELESS. If you are still unable to use the wireless network successfully please locate the MAC address. Follow the steps below to locate the MAC address:
    1. From the 3DS home menu, tap System Settings.
    2. Tap Internet Settings.
    3. Tap Other Information.
    4. Tap Confirm MAC Address.
    5. The console's MAC address will be displayed on this screen.
    6. With your MAC address ready, please submit an online request or contact the ITS Service Desk.
