What is the Set as External Grade option within Blackboard's Grade Center?
Resolution
The Set as External Grade functionality is not currently used by WKU. However, Blackboard requires one column to be designated as the External Grade, and that column cannot be deleted from the Grade Center. If you wish to delete the column that is currently designated as the External Grade (indicated by a green checkmark beside the column title), you must choose another column to be designated. WKU Blackboard administrators recommend that you designate your course total column as the External Grade.
