Enabling Windows' Antivirus and Security Protection

Issue/Question

My computer's antivirus trial has expired. How do I enable Windows' antivirus and security protection?

Resolution

1. Click (the Start button).
2. Type Defender.
3. Select Windows Defender.
4. If Defender is disabled, click Turn on.

Note: If the trial antivirus is still on the computer, it should be uninstalled.
