Interprocess Communication Error

Issue/Question

While installing Cisco Secure Client VPN, I receive the following error:

The VPN client agent was unable to create the interprocess communication depot.

Resolution

1. Click the Start button.
2. Click Control Panel.
3. Click View Network Status and Tasks.
4. Click Change Adapter Settings.
5. Right-click the shared connection and choose Properties.
6. Click the Sharing tab.
7. Clear the Allow other networks users to connect through this computer's Internet connection check box.
   Note: If the Allow other network users to control or disable the shared Internet connection box is checked, but is greyed out, click the previously mentioned check box to make it available, and then clear said box.
8. Click OK.
