Choosing an Application to Handle Email Links

Issue/Question

When I click an email link in Mozilla Firefox, it opens in something other than my preferred email application.

Environment

• Mozilla Firefox

Resolution

1. Click the  Menu button, then select  Options.
2. Click  Applications on the left-side menu.
3. Scroll down to the mailto item.
4. Click the dropdown menu in the Action column next to mailto.
5. Select the desired application or click Choose other... to find it.
