Viewing Student's Past Attempts

Issue/Question

Is it possible to tell if a student attempted an assignment or assessment if the grade has been overridden or the attempt has been cleared?

Environment

• Blackboard

Resolution

1. Open the Full Grade Center of the affected course.
2. Hover over the cell with the grade of the attempt that may have been overridden.
3. Click the  chevron, and select View Grade Details.
4. Click the Grade History tab.
5. A log of all attempts, cleared attempts, overrides, and exemptions is displayed. Click View Complete History if some entries are hidden.
