How do I create an account to apply for admission to WKU?

Environment

Resolution

All Undergraduates OR Graduates Applying for Summer '25 Term or Later

  1. Navigate to Online Admissions Application Portal.
  2. Click Application for Admission to WKU (Undergraduate Applicants) or Domestic and International Applicants (Graduate Applicants).
  3. Click Create Account.
    Note: If you have an active NetID (active Faculty/Staff, Students, or Dual Credit) click Log in with WKU NetID instead. If you had completed a prior application using this portal, you can log in using the email address tied to your previous application by clicking Log in with Email.
  4. Fill in the Create an Application Account fields.
  5. Click Submit.

Graduates Applying for Terms Prior to Summer '25

  1. Navigate to the Online Admissions Application Portal.
  2. Click Domestic and International Applicants (Graduate Applicants).
  3. Select Term.
  4. Click Continue.
  5. If you do not have a WKUID (800#), click on application account creation.
  6. Create a Login ID and PIN.
  7. Click Login.
  8. Return to the Admissions Application page and log in using your Login ID and PIN or WKUID and PIN.
    Note: If you are unsure of your WKUID PIN, you can reset it on our Accounts page. If you are unsure of your Login ID PIN, you will need to contact the ITS Service Desk for assistance.
