Creating a Contact Page


How can I create a contact page on my Blackboard course site?


Instructors may choose to include a Contacts page within their course site that provides contact information to users.  


  1. Navigate to the course site where you want to create the Contacts page.
  2. Click Organizational Tools.
  3. Click Contacts.
  4. Click Create Contact.
  5. On the Create Contact page, enter relevant information into the provided fields (first name, last name, and email address are required; everything else is optional).
  6. Make sure the Make the Profile Available option is set to Yes.
  7. Click Submit.
  8. Click the + button at the top of the course menu on the left.
  9. Select the Tool Link option.
  10. Enter a name for the page.
  11. Select Contacts from the Type: drop down menu.
  12. Make sure Available to Users is checked.
  13. Click Submit.  The page link should appear on the course menu.
