Locking/Unlocking Dell Monitor Preference Menu

Issue/Question

When I press my monitor's menu buttons, a lock symbol appears in the center of the screen. How do I unlock the menu?

Environment

  • Dell monitors

Resolution

  1. Press and hold the main menu button on the monitor for 10-15 seconds.
  2. The lock symbol should change to an open padlock.
  3. Set the preferences as desired.
