Deleted assets cannot be recovered. Not even if the recycle bin is enabled for a site. Pages that are subscribed to this asset will be affected, be prepared to take note of which pages are affected by the deleted asset.
- Log into Web CMS.
- Hover over Content.
- Click Assets.
- Locate the asset to be deleted by using the All Types drop down menu to narrow down selection, or using the Filter.
- Hover over the file Name and mouse over to the File drop down menu, click Delete.
Note: Deleted assets cannot be recovered.
- An alert window will ask if you are sure you want to delete this asset.
- There will also be an alert listing any pages that have dependencies that will be broken by deleting this asset.
Note: Take note of these pages in order to update them by removing the broken asset link from the page.
- Once deletion has been confirmed, the asset is deleted.
