How do I set text or an image as a hyperlink using the text box editor?

  1. Highlight the text which you want to make into a link.
  2. Select the Link icon in the text toolbar.
  3. In the Insert Link window, paste or write in the URL you want to hyperlink.
  4. Set the text & title which you want to display.
  5. Select your desired method for how the link will open.
  6. Click Save.

Image

Creating hyperlinks via image can only be done in Blackboard Original courses. It is not an available feature in Blackboard Ultra.
  1. Use the Add Content within the text toolbar to insert the image.
  2. Click the image to highlight it.
  3. Select the Link icon in the text toolbar.
  4. In the Insert/edit link window, paste or write in the URL you want to hyperlink. 
  5. Set the title you want to display.
  6. Select your desired method for how the link will open.
  7. Click Save.
