Issue/Question
I setup GMail to connect to my WKU account, but when I try to send emails from it, my message gets rejected.
Cause
The WKU Spam Control server sees messages sent from a third-party service, such as GMail, on behalf of an @wku.edu address, as a spoofed address. Spoofed addresses are notorious for sending junk messages. As such, Spam Control blocks those messages.
Resolution
You will either need to send messages directly from the GMail address or directly from your WKU Exchange account (https://www.wku.edu/its/webmail/).
