Deleting Content with Account Over Quota

Issue/Question

I have exceeded my account's P: drive allotted storage. When I try to delete something, I get the following error:

File in use by Windows Explorer.

Resolution

  1. Press and hold the shift key.
  2. Press the delete key.
  3. If the file does not delete and the error still appears, please contact the ITS Service Desk or submit a service request.
