Sharing a Mediasite Video

Post a Presentation:

1. Log into Blackboard.
2. Navigate to the course that you want to add the Mediasite video.
3. Navigate to the content area you want the video to appear.
4. Click the plus sign to add content to an area. 
5. Select Content Market. 
6. In the list, select Mediasite Content.
7. You can search your recordings or scroll through list to select the video you would like to add.
8. Once you have located the video you wish to share, click Embed video button.
   Note: If your video says Private video, follow To Make Presentation Viewable instructions below to make video viewable to others.
9. Click Insert.
10. You will then see your recording embedded in content area where you started this process. 

Make a Presentation Viewable

1. Go to the Mediasite portal.
2. Under Who Can View, select your desired preference.
   • Only Me: Only you will be able to view the Mediasite Presentation. 
   • Only Shared Users: Only users that you invite to the video from the Share Presentation link will be able to see it. 
   • My Organization (Recommended): Allows all WKU members to see the video if you provide them with the link. 
   • Everyone: Allows anyone with the link to see the video whether or not they are affiliated with WKU.
