Issue/Question
Emails that I have sent are not showing in my Sent folder.
Resolution
Within Outlook, verify the following settings:
- Click File, and then Options.
- In the Outlook Options dialog, click Mail.
- Under the Save messages section
- Ensure the When replying to a message that is not in the Inbox, save the reply in the same folder option is not checked, and
- Ensure the Save copies of messages in the Sent Items folder option is checked.
- Click OK.
Use the search box and the dropdown option for All Outlook Items to find the missing messages. If desired, move the messages to the correct folder.
