I allowed students to submit multiple attempts on an assignment. The student's other attempts still appear under Needs Grading, even after a grade has been entered for the assignment.
All attempts will appear under Needs Grading until they have been graded or cleared. To remove these attempts from Needs Grading, you must clear the attempt.
