Deleting Blackboard Assignment Submission Attempt

Issue/Question

An assignment or assessment on Blackboard already has a submission and is not allowing the student to submit another attempt.

Environment

• Blackboard

Resolution

1. Access course in Blackboard. 
2. Open Gradebook.
3. Open Grades tab within Gradebook. 
4. Click posted grade within student row and assignment column. 
5. Choose View Submission. 
6. Student submission will open. Click ... (top left). 
7. Select Delete Attempt. 
8. You will be prompted to confirm deletion of the attempt. Click Delete to confirm. 
   Note: This action is final, and cannot be undone.
