Blocking Calls or Texts on iOS Devices

How do I block a call / text message on an iPhone? 

Environment

• iOS

Resolution

1. Navigate to the area on your phone from where contact was initiated such as the phone or messaging application. 
2. Tap the information circle next to the contact name or number. 
    Note: You may have to tap the icon of a silhouette  if you are in the messages application before the  information circle will appear.
3. Tap the number listed at the top of the screen to see all details if they are not displayed. 
4. Tap Block this caller.
