Clearing Cache in Outlook

How do I clear the cache in Outlook?

Environment

• Outlook 2019

Cause

Outlook is behaving erratically or auto complete functions are not working as intended. 

Resolution

1. Close Outlook if it is open. 
2. Open a new Windows File Explorer window. 
3. Type the following path into the window:%localappdata%\Microsoft\Outlook.
4. Press Enter.
5. Open the folder titled RoamCache.
6. Delete all the contents of this folder. 
7. Close the window. 
8. Reopen Outlook.
