How do I log in to a lab computer?
Resolution
You must be a current Student, Faculty, or Staff member in order to use Lab machines. Students must be enrolled in courses. If you are not enrolled, see the related article Registering for Courses.
- At the log in screen, enter your WKU Account username and password.
- Press Enter or select the blue circle with a white arrow to log in.
Mac lab computers only — If you receive the error Password not set. Verify username mapping in configuration is correct and you are not using passwordless login your Microsoft account is configured to use a Passkey or passwordless authentication, which is not supported on Mac lab computers.
Mac Lab: Passkey / Passwordless Authentication Error
- At the Mac log in screen, enter your WKU Account username and proceed.
- When your mobile device prompts you to Approve sign in, do not approve it.
- Look for the Use your password instead link on that screen — it may appear small or below the main prompt.
- Tap that link, then enter your password to complete the log in.
