Mass Deleting Emails in Inbox

Issue/Question

How do I delete all emails in my inbox?

Environment

  • OWA
    • Exchange

Resolution

 Note: WKU IT has a strict policy of not deleting anyone's inbox. It is up to an individual to manually delete the emails they would like to be deleted.

Clearing Entire Inbox

  1. Log into OWA.
  2. Right click on Inbox.
  3. Click Empty Folder.

Deleting Select Emails

  1. Log into OWA.
  2. Shift-click on the first email in the list of emails you want to delete.
  3. Shift-click the last email in the list of emails you want to delete.
  4. Once they are selected, click Delete.

Note: You can also CTRL-click emails separately and then click Delete.
