How do I install SPSS Version 29 for Mac?

Resolution

1. Click SPSS Authorization Code knowledge article to see and make note of your authorization code (may require NetID login) and return here to continue.
2. Click SharePoint link. If prompted, log in using your WKU-issued email (Exchange or TopperMail) and password with multi-factor authentication.
3. Click the .PKG file for macOS.
4. Click Download.
5. On WKU-owned Macs, click the Privileges app in your dock to give your account temporary admin rights and allow software installations.
   Note: If you do not have the Privileges app in your dock, your computer may have an older image. Skip to the next step.
6. Go to the download location and double click the file you downloaded.
7. Click Continue.
8. Click Continue on the Software License Agreement.
9. Click Agree on the terms of the Software License Agreement.
10. Click Install (it may prompt for your computer password).
11. It should complete the installation.
12. You'll find the application launch icon for SPSS in /Applications/IBM/SPSS/Statistics/29/SPSSStatistics.
13. When SPSS opens, click the License Product button on Activate IBM SPSS Statistics window.
14. Click Next.
15. Click the Authorized user license radio button.
16. Click Next.
17. Enter the Authorization Code from step 1.
18. Click Add.
19. Click Next.
20. It should go through the Authorization process and display Authorization Succeeded when completed.
21. Click Next.
22. Click Finish.
