Using the Test Access Log

Issue/Question

I would like to know when a student accessed and/or completed a test or quiz.

Cause

There is some question about when a student started or completed a test or quiz.

Resolution

Instructors can view the Test Access Log.

1. Click on the course in Blackboard.
2. Navigate to the Full Grade Center.
3. Click the dropdown beside the desired student's grade for the test/quiz in question.
4. Select the appropriate attempt.
5. Click the  Test Information link.
6. Click the Access Log button.

The Access Log will show the time when the student began the test, the time when each question's answer was saved, and the time when the attempt was submitted.
