Devices that Cannot Connect to WKU Internet

Issue/Question

What devices are not able to connect to the WKU network?

Resolution

Currently, these devices cannot connect to the wired or wireless network:

• Google Chromecast
• Google Nest Hub
• Nintendo Wii cannot get wireless access. The Wii has to have the a LAN adapter.
• Routers or other network extending equipment
• Wireless Printers
• Apple AirPlay is disabled on WKU's network, however Apple TVs can access the internet on a wireless and wired connection.
• FitBit Versa
• Sonos speakers
• Lovebox devices
• Most wireless security cameras
• Robot vacuums, such as Roomba and Eufy
