Links Not Opening

Issue/Question

When I click a link in a document or email, nothing happens.

Environment

• Windows 10

Resolution

Set Default App

1. Click .
2. Click .
3. Click Apps .
4. Click Default Apps .
5. Click the Web browser field.
6. Select your preferred browser.
7. If the window disappears, continue below, as the system setting may be corrupt and needs to be reset.

Check for Updates

1. Click .
2. Click .
3. Click Update & Security .
4. Click Windows Update .
5. Click Check for updates.
6. Once updates have been installed, restart the computer.
7. If no updates were found, or the issue persists after updating and restarting, please contact the ITS Service Desk.
