Firefox keeps asking me to save a file called f.txt. What is this?

Cause
Cetain embedded advertisements on pages may not be encoded properly, causing Firefox to interpret them as a downloadable file. An example source for these kinds of files could be from a source entitled ad.doubleclick.net.
Resolution
Navigate away from the page with the media or information that is causing Firefox to display the download box. Most often these pages will have videos that play as advertisements along the side of the page, or may be on a site that displays ads to support their content. If this is a page that you wish to keep using or exploring, an alternate broswer may correct the problem. You may also cancel and close the download window as it appears.
