How do I install the Zoom application on a personal device in a mobile or desktop environment?

Resolution

On PC/Mac

If you are installing Zoom Workplace on a WKU Faculty/Staff Windows device, please follow the instructions in this article to install Zoom Workplace from the Software Center.
  1. Go to https://zoom.us/download.
  2. Choose the download option appropriate for your operating system.
  3. Choose a location to save the installer & click Save.
  4. Once downloaded, open the installer file.
  5. Follow the installation prompts.
  6. The program should start automatically after installation. If not, locate Zoom in the Windows Start Menu or Mac Applications.
     

On iOS/Android

  1. Open the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
  2. Search for Zoom Workplace. You may also directly access the app download on Google Play here or the Apple Store here.
  3. If you performed a search, the first result should be Zoom Workplace. Tap the application.
  4. Tap on Install.
