Changing Audio Settings for Cisco Jabber

Issue/Question

How do I change my audio settings for Cisco Jabber? 

Environment

  • Cisco Jabber

Cause

A new or other audio device needs to be used in conjunction with Cisco Jabber. 

Resolution

Windows

  1. Click the cogwheel  in the top right of the application.
  2. Click Options... .
  3. Select Audio.
  4. Use the drop down menus to select your desired audio devices and preferences. 
  5. Click Apply. 
  6. Click OK. 

macOS

  1. From the main Jabber menu in the upper right corner, click Preferences... .
  2. Select the Audio/Video tab. 
  3. Select your desired audio devices and preferences in the boxes provided. 
  4. Close the window.
