How do I edit accommodations for students to have extended due dates, time limits on assignments or only allowing a specific student an exception?

Cause

An instructor wishes to change the accommodations of a student.

Instructors will need to create an availability exception. This availability option does not override the settings. Please make sure to not all students to start the Test if the due date has passed.

Navigate to the course.
Ensure that Edit Mode is enabled.
Navigate to the content area where the test link appears.
Click the down arrow to the right of the test name.
Select Edit the Test Options.
Scroll down to Test Availability Exceptions.
Click Add User or Group.
Select the checkbox to the left of each student for whom you wish to create the exception.
Click Submit.
Click the calendar icon under Availability.
Enter the date and time for After and Until.
If there was a timer on the assessment, you may also change the amount of time on the timer, as needed.
Note: The exception availability date for the student will override the test availability date regardless of the time constraints set within the original test.
Click Save.
Scroll to the bottom and click Submit.

Blackboard Ultra

Navigate to the course.
Select View everyone in your course under Roster.
Navigate to the student and select to the right of their name.
Select the check box next to the accommodation you wish to apply.
Click Save.
