Issue/Question
The application I am in has expanded to cover the entire screen. How do I return the window to its normal size?
Cause
Starting with OS X 10.10 Yosemite, the green button in the top-left corner expands the active window to full-screen mode. The button previously maximized the window to the exact dimensions needed.
Resolution
- Move the mouse cursor to the top of the screen.
- The application and Apple bars will appear.
- Click the Green button to return the window to its normal size.
