Issue/Question
I cannot download a Blackboard exam/test using Respondus. I receive an error:
Error Downloading Exam
Some Bb servers are not set up correctly to 'Export' exams. Please verify that you can manually export an exam using your browser before contacting support.
Cause
Special characters in test names are not consistently recognized by Respondus and can cause the download to fail.
Resolution
Rename the test in Blackboard. Letters, numbers, and spaces are compatible with Respondus.
