Installation Problem: IMS Lib Not Found Error

Issue/Question

When I try to launch Adobe Acrobat, I get the following error message: 

Installation Problem: IMS Lib not found. Acrobat services will not work.

Environment

  • Adobe Creative Cloud
    • Adobe Acrobat

Cause

The Adobe Application Manager may not be installed or is not working properly. 

Resolution

  1. Download the Adobe Application Manager here
  2. Open the downloaded file and proceed through the installation process. 
  3. Open Adobe Acrobat
