How do I change the language used by my computer?
Environment
macOS
Resolution
Click the
Apple menu in the upper-left corner.
Select
System Preferences
.
Click
Language & Region
.
Click
.
Locate and click the desired language.
Click
Add
.
When prompted, select the desired language as the macOS primary language.
If prompted, select the input source(s) you want to add, if you have a corresponding keyboard, and click
Add Input Source
.
Note:
A prompt will not appear if the language does not have a corresponding input source
.
