Google Chrome Asking to Save Each File Before Downloading

Issue/Question

Google Chrome asks me to select a download location for every file that I download. How do I have Chrome automatically download my files to the same location?

Environment

Cause

The option to ask where to save each file before downloading has been enabled. 

Resolution

1. Click the menu button  in the upper-right corner. 
2. Select Settings. 
3. Click Advanced. 
4. Click Downloads. 
5. Toggle the option Ask where to save each file before downloading to the off position. 
6. Set your preferred download location in the Location box above by clicking Change if desired. 
   Note: By default, Google Chrome will save to your downloads folder. If this is your preferred location you may omit step 6.
