Making an Appointment in Outlook

How do I make an appointment on my Outlook calendar?

Environment

  • Microsoft 365
    • Outlook

Resolution

  1. Open Outlook.
  2. Open the Calendar
    Note: If you have more than one calendar, select the calendar you wish to create the appointment on. 
  3.  Double-click on the Date you wish to make an appointment.
  4. Enter Title. Then, Start time and End time.
  5. Click on the Categorize tab and select your Category, if desired.
  6. Click Save.
