Copying Content Between Blackboard Courses

How do I copy individual content items or whole course content between Blackboard course sites?

Resolution

This process is recommended when copying content between courses in which you are instructor in both. To copy content from a course in which you are not the instructor, please reference Importing or Exporting Course Content. 
  1. Navigate to the Blackboard course site which you will copy content into. 
    Note: Do not start in the course you want to copy from.
  2. In Course Content, click . 
  3. Select Copy Content. A list of your courses will appear. 
    Note: Additionally, you may select Organizations to search through your Blackboard Organization sites. 
  4. You may:
    1. Check    next to a course name to copy everything within
      OR
    2. Select specific items by clicking    to the right of the course you wish to copy from. 
  5. Once you have made your selections, click Start Content button at the bottom of the panel. 
  6. You will not receive an email indicating when this process is done, but you should see updates inside the course once the action is complete. Depending on the amount and size of copied material, this process may take a few minutes.
