Receiving Your Organization Has Deleted This Device Error

Issue/Question

When signing into an Office 365 product (ex., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or so on) I get the following error:

Something went wrong
Your organization has deleted this device.
To fix this, contact your system administrator and provide the error code 700003.

Environment

  • Office 365

Resolution

  1. Click Windows Start Icon.
  2. Type cmd.
  3. Right-click Command Prompt app.
  4. Click Run as Administrator.
  5. Type dsregcmd /forcerecovery​​​​​​​.
  6. Press Enter.
  7. You should now be able to sign into your Office 365 product without issue.
