Why can't I print to my printer?

Resolution
To properly troubleshoot a network printer, complete the following steps. After each step, attempt to test the network printer's functionality. If functionality is not restored, continue to the next step.
- Power cycle the printer.
- Check for bad print jobs.
- Remove and re-add the printer.
- If your departmental printer has User Authentication enabled, verify you have the correct access code added for the printer.
- Check for OS updates.
- If the issue only occurs with one application/suite, check for software updates.
- Attempt to add the printer to a different machine to see if the issue is related to the printer or the computer.
- If you are still experiencing issues, please contact the ITS Service Desk or submit a service request by clicking the Request Service button.
