Missing Grade Center Columns

Issue/Question

After I have created a column, it does not show up in the Grade Center.

Environment

  • Blackboard

Resolution

  1. Click Manage from the red toolbar in the Gradecenter.
  2. Select Column Organization.
  3. Scroll down until you find the column in question and click the checkbox if it is hidden.
  4. Mouse over Show/Hide and select Show Selected Columns.
  5. Click Submit.
  6. If that does not show the column, follow this article to create a new column.
  7. Return to the Full Grade Center. 
  8. You may see two identical columns. Click on the chevron (down arrow) next to the most left-hand column.
  9. Specify a Category, then click submit.
  10. Delete the column you made in step six.
