When will I be able to log into Blackboard?
Resolution
All users must have an active NetID and WKU email address before logging into Blackboard. There is not a way to expedite the process of getting a Blackboard account.
Students
Students will be permitted to log into Blackboard with the NetID 24 hours after registering for classes.
Dual-Credit Students
Dual-Credit students are manually entered in the system by the Dual-Credit office. This is often done much later than the 24 hour timeframe listed above and those students need to contact the Dual-Credit office at 270-745-3418 .
WKU On Demand Students
On Demand students can login with their NetID and password within 24 hours of registering. On Demand students who have not logged in to Blackboard in the last 180 days will need to contact the WKU On Demand office at 270-745-4158.
Faculty/Staff
Instructors will have to be set as Faculty or Staff with Human Resources for 24 hours before they gain access.
Note: If you will need to create Blackboard Courses or Blackboard Organizations there are required trainings that must first be completed.
Non-Employee
A TopperMail account will need to be created for this employee classification. Please contact the ITS Service Desk
