Installing a New WKU-Owned Computer

Issue/Question

I am a faculty/staff member and I just got a new computer. How do I get it installed?

• WKU-Owned Computer

Resolution

1. Check to see if your computer already has an Inventory Control Number (ICN).
   • If the ICN cannot be located, see the related article Obtaining an Inventory Control Number for more information.
   •  Note: Some computers are shipped with an Inventory Control Number (ICN) and it is not necessary to contact Inventory Control. 
2. Once the computer has an ICN, please contact the ITS Service Desk or submit a service request by clicking the Request Service button.
