How do I remove my Apple device from Find My iPhone?

Environment

• iOS device
• Apple Watch
• Mac computer

Cause

It is necessary to remove a device from Find My iPhone when selling/giving away the device or sending it in for repairs.

Resolution

1. Turn off the device you want to remove.
2. Navigate to iCloud.com.
3. Sign in with your Apple ID.
4. Click Find iPhone.
5. Sign in again.
6. Click All Devices .
7. Select the device you want to remove.
8. Click Remove from Account.
