Unblocking Email Accounts

Issue/Question

When I try to sign into my email account I get a message that says the sign-in has been disabled. 

Environment

  • WKU Email

Cause

When attempting to sign into a WKU email account, a message may appear indicating that sign-in has been disabled. This occurs when the account has been blocked, either due to suspected compromise or because Microsoft’s security systems detected unusual activity, such as sending a high volume of emails in a short period of time.

Resolution

If you are unable to sign into your email account as sign-in has been blocked, please contact the ITS Service Desk.
