Changing Computer Name

How do I change my Mac's computer name?

Environment

  • WKU-Owned Macs

Resolution

  1. Open Self-Service.
  2. Click Your Scripts.
  3. Locate Rename My Mac.
  4. Click Execute Now.
  5. Within a few moments, a prompt will appear. Enter the name you would like for your computer.
  6. Click OK.
