Clearing Cache (Edge)

Issue/Question

How do I clear Edge's cache and cookies?

Environment

  • Windows 10
    • Microsoft Edge

Resolution

  1. Click the  (more) button, on the menu bar.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Select the Privacy, search, and services tab
  4. Click the button that says Choose what to clear under the Clear browsing data section.
  5. In the Time range drop-down menu, select All time.
  6. Check the boxes next to Cookies and and other site data and Cached images and files. Everything else may remain unchecked.
  7. Click the Clear now button.
    Note: If there is a large amount of data to clear this process may take a few moments to complete. 
  8. Completely close and reopen Edge once the data has been cleared.
