Automatically Deleting Old Emails

How can I get Outlook to automatically delete old email?

Environment

• Outlook 2016

Resolution

1. Open Outlook. 
2. Right-click on the email folder you wish to have mail automatically deleted from. 
3. Select Properties... .
4. Select AutoArchive. 
5. Select the radio button next to Archive this folder using these settings:.
6. Adjust the Clean out items older than area to the date range you would like to have deleted. 
7. Select the radio button next to Permanently delete old items. 
8. Click Apply. 
9. Click OK.
