Adding an Access Code to a Ricoh Printer

Issue/Question

I need to input the access code for my department's Ricoh printer.

Environment

  • Managed Print Services (MPS)
  • Windows 10

Resolution

Note: If you don't know your access code, please reference this article.

  1. Click  (Search Windows).
  2. Search for and open Control Panel.
  3. Select Sort by: Large Icons in the upper-right corner. 
  4. Click Devices and Printers.
  5. Right-click the Ricoh printer you need to add the code to.
  6. Select Printing Preferences.
  7. Select the Valid Access tab.
  8. Input your code into the User Code field and click OK.

You should now be able to print to the MPS Ricoh printer as normal. If this is not the case, please contact the ITS Service Desk.
